SEWING APPLIQUE PATCHES

I purchased a set of four stamps
from Michael's Craft Store some time ago,
and I've been waiting for the perfect project idea to come along!

Here's what I made yesterday!
Four sets of Four text applique patches
for your own creative adventures.

They are hand stamped on cream canvas fabric
using a sepia coloured ink,
and then embellished with
a coordinating sewn vintage lace border.

How darling would these patches be
on the cover of a plain journal
or a handmade card or scrapbook page!

I have a set just sitting in a small pretty plate
and they make me smile every time I glance at them here in the studio!

Even just pinning them to an inspiration board would be great!

  4. Ooooh, these are so pretty, Carmelina! I'm imagining them stitched onto a ruffled, muslin apron I've been wanting to sew. Hmmm, may have to pay your Etsy shop another visit:)
