I love harvest day in my kitchen.
It brings me such joy to know that I am making
good, wholesome food for my family.
These are my family's new favourite.
I'd like to share the recipe with you.
Cheese Biscuits
Serving: 12
Ingredients
1 3/4 Cups Flour
4 tsp Baking Powder
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Parsley
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 Cup Butter, cubed
1 Cup Shredded Old Cheddar Cheese
1 Cup Milk
Mix the dry ingredients together.
Cut the butter cubes into the dry mixture.
Add cheese.
Stir in milk using a fork until just combined.
Bake on greased sheet for 13-15 minutes @ 425 F.
Enjoy!
I'll post the Banana Muffin recipe soon!

Yummy, those sure look good! I guess I was close to guessing.
ReplyDeleteI'd like two, please.
I love cheese biscuits...I mean I REALLY love them! I would rather have them than dessert! So I make a double recipe and freeze them! They are just as good taken out of the freezer later on! (and I can't eat dessert...I can't eat sugar! lol)
ReplyDeleteWow - I understand why those would be a family favorite!
ReplyDeleteOh yum!!! I'm on a scone baking binge, Carmelina. I'm trying to come up with new flavors. I'm thinking these cheese biscuits could easily be turned into a scone too! ;-)

ReplyDeleteMy Pink, have a nice weekend!
These will be great with homemade soup. My family has never been big into biscuits but with the cheddar cheese, they might just go for them. Hope you have a great day. Tammy
